I started practicing yoga several years ago. It was sporadic and was mostly done through You Tube videos. My best friend and I went to a yoga retreat and that's when it all changed. The yoga retreat teacher said," yoga isn't just asanas" (poses). Well, that was the first time I heard that. From what I saw online, yoga was just poses and flows showing flexibility and endurance. During COVID, I attended a virtual yoga training program. I developed a consistent home practice. After my initial 200 hr training, I continued to learn and got training in other forms of yoga: yin and restorative yoga, I learned about the subtle body, racial justice and yoga and so much more. I am currently enrolled in another 200 hr training and teaching yoga online and in person. For me, yoga is not a performance but a journey and exploration into self. It is an invitation to slow down and nourish the mind, body and soul. If you have a body - you have a yoga body! Yoga is not a performance but a journey and exploration into self. It is an invitation to slow down and nourish the mind, body and soul. I am a 200 hr trained yoga teacher in Rocket, Yin, Restorative and Vinyasa style. If you have a body - you have a yoga body! I’m forever learning, cultivating and aligning to teach and hold space for real bodies having a human experience, physically and energetically through intention, breath and poses. When you practice with me, we will explore, feel and shift whatever needs to move so we can show up as the best version of ourselves! You can find me on Instagram @f.e.e.ldaily
